CTOA Stands with International Student Workers
CTOA joined labour leaders and community organizations at a press conference in Brampton, standing in solidarity with international student workers fighting deportation. These individuals, vital contributors to Canada’s economy and the trucking industry, face uncertain futures due to expiring Post-Graduate Work Permits (PGWPs).
CTOA highlighted the critical role of immigration in addressing labour shortages and ensuring supply chain resilience. The CTOA remains committed to advocating for inclusive policies that protect our diverse workforce and sustain Canada’s trucking industry.
